What will I get out of attending this workshop?
This fascinating and inspirational workshop features the following;
. Prior to the workshop, you will receive a special online questionnaire that you'll complete which will help you to focus on where you currently are with your business and where you want to be. We analyse the results of this so that we know exactly how to assist you - and your business.
· You'll learn how to run and use your current client base effectively - your existing clients are vital to the life of your business. (If you are a student and have not yet got any existing clients - not to worry, we'll show you how to gain clients from pre-existing contacts).
· There are many, many ways of getting new clients. You'll discover the easiest, most inexpensive and most time-effective ways of doing this.
· Practitioners often tell us that they have difficulty charging clients. We'll help you with this - so that you'll find it easy and ethical to charge for your services.
· We'll share with you what to charge clients and how to charge them.
· You'll discover exactly how much profit you need to make to run a successful practice and how to combine your "calling" with the business acumen you need to "make a living". (We have devised a special online calculator for this and as an attendee of "Developing YOUR Professional Practice" you will have exclusive access to this incredibly valuable tool.)
· Advertising - Is this a good idea or not? And, if it is- what you need to do to maximise its effect! This section of the workshop is led by Dave Hawkins, formerly Planning Director of Ogilvy and Mather - the world's largest advertising agency.
· You'll develop you own specific Unique Selling Proposition (USP). We'll help you work through a methodical and straightforward formula that will enable you to really differentiate yourself from all those other practitioners out there. . . And give people a real and compelling reason to see you - again and again. (And refer their friends and family to you too).
· You'll learn how to add instant profit to your business (guaranteed - and I mean it!).
· We'll show you how to become a canny buyer - and save yourself money, time and boosting your profitability.
· You'll find out how to streamline your marketing and admin activities so that you have more time with clients and less time on admin.
· As an attendee of "Developing YOUR Professional Practice" you'll have the UNIQUE opportunity to enrol on our 'Public Lecture' series that we have devised in order to help you become known as an expert in your field. This is a super-effective new way of getting new clients.
· Networking is always good for business development -- however it is so easy to get it wrong. We'll show you the pitfalls and teach you exactly how to maximise any networking opportunity.
· EBooks and an online presence are great ways of boosting your profile - so that more people can find you - and make appointments. However these are not straightforward - and are fraught with pitfalls. You'll learn how YOU can use these and you can develop a professional, credible online presence.
· Search Engine Optimisation - when you get your own website (don't worry if you don't have one, we'll help you sort one out if need be) you'll need to drive it to the top of the search engines e.g. Google, Yahoo and so on. There are ways of doing this - we are experts and we're happy to share this information with you so that you can benefit too.
· You'll be given your own "Developing YOUR Professional Practice" folder to make notes in and to take away to refer back to.
· Much More . . . . Yes there really is much more on this workshop day. You are probably wondering how we can pack so much in. Well - the secret is that I use a set of accelerated learning techniques that mean that we can cover vast amounts of information - in such a way that you'll be able to use it immediately and easily. Plus, we are always available after the event if you need to chat with us. We do send you lots of follow-up emails - and surveys, so that we can track your progress and offer any help if it is needed.
